A bit about what you will be doing:
We’re searching for an experienced and charismatic Bar
Manager to lead our bar operation, delivering an exceptional drinks-led
experience in one of London’s premium dining destinations. From concept to
execution, you’ll shape the cocktail and wine offering, elevate guest
engagement, and lead a talented team in delivering smooth and sophisticated
service.
Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll be
responsible for upholding the highest standards in product, atmosphere, and bar
team performance — making your venue a standout destination for pre-dinner
drinks, late-night cocktails, and everything in between.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead
the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring exceptional service,
precision, and guest satisfaction.
* Curate
and elevate the cocktail and wine list in collaboration with the wider
beverage and operations teams.
* Train,
mentor, and inspire the bar team to consistently deliver service
excellence and signature drinks.
* Monitor
stock levels, purchasing, waste, and margins to optimise profitability and
control costs.
* Uphold
all licensing, health & safety, and food safety standards.
* Keep
current with drinks trends and innovation to ensure the offering remains
relevant and exciting.
* Engage
with guests on the floor, creating memorable moments and cultivating
regular clientele.
* Support
the GM with event service, activations, and team development.
Key Requirements:
* Previous
experience as a Bar Manager or senior bartender in a premium or
high-volume hospitality environment.
* A
passion for cocktails, wine, and service — with strong product knowledge
and a drive to innovate.
* Natural
leadership skills with a track record of developing, motivating, and
retaining teams.
* Confidence
in bar financials including GP control, stock management, and rota
planning.
* A
hands-on, service-led approach with a commitment to creating great guest
experiences.
* Organised,
calm under pressure, and detail-oriented.
