As a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, you will:
Responsibilities
* Provide assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and advice for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
* Work closely with senior clinicians to deliver high-quality, person-centred interventions.
* Manage a varied caseload that may include patients with neurological conditions, head and neck cancer, voice, and dysfluency disorders.
* Contribute to service development and multidisciplinary meetings as part of the Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team (CNRT).
* Receive support and supervision to develop clinical expertise and build confidence in your specialist areas.
Qualifications
* Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification
* HCPC registration
* RCSLT membership
* Experience working with adults with communication and swallowing disorders across a range of conditions, using a variety of assessments and therapy approaches.
* A proactive approach to learning and development, with a passion for delivering person-centred care.
* Confidence using IT systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
