About the Job Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Auditor. We're looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, and who can work collaboratively to champion a culture of continuous improvement and support us in improving our controls to manage risk. Using your excellent people skills, you'll get to know Games Workshop as you'll work closely with managers. A self-starter, you'll be keen to understand the business, taking action to help us manage the financial and operational risks we face. This position is about helping the business to understand if our controls are working, and to help identify where risks are not managed effectively. You'll take a logical approach in undertaking risk-based and cyclical audits on financial and operational processes, identifying any control weaknesses. Being process-driven, you'll take accountability for delivering audit reviews end to end, from planning and scoping, through fieldwork, and drafting audit findings, actions and reports. You'll ensure these are completed within agreed timescales. We're looking for someone who is objective, with sound independent judgement, who can work with the business to agree pragmatic and practical audit actions. You'll monitor the successful delivery of improvements, always showing a commitment to quality and consistency. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in audit and risk management. Completing tasks with the highest level of accuracy and reliability will help support you in building and sustaining relationships across all levels of the business.
