We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our friendly, well-established nursery in Croydon, providing exceptional care and education for up to 90 children. As our Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the nursery’s culture, supporting staff development, and ensuring that every child receives the highest quality of learning experiences. You will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS requirements, and upholding the high standards that our families expect and trust. The successful Nursery Manager will lead by example, creating a warm, supportive atmosphere where children feel happy and safe, and where practitioners are encouraged to be creative, confident, and reflective in their practice. You’ll oversee planning and curriculum delivery, monitor progress and development, and ensure that every member of the team is empowered to provide outstanding early years care. We are looking for a Nursery Manager who: * Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years or Childcare * Has proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting * Demonstrates a strong understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and the EYFS framework * Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with children, parents, and staff * Is passionate about continuous improvement and eager to contribute ideas to help our nursery grow and thrive As part of a small, supportive nursery group, you’ll benefit from close collaboration with other Nursery Managers within our network.
