The role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you are at the heart of a multi-million-pound international project, supporting the construction of a sodium treatment facility. This is a unique opportunity to work within a regulated environment on a long-term programme that expands your expertise in commercial management and construction.
Day-to-day, you’ll
1. Manage NEC4 contracts, particularly post-contract activities
2. Support procurement and supply chain management
3. Advise on budget control, risk and change management
4. Provide strategic reporting and forecasting to the client
5. Ensure commercial transparency and value for money
This is a permanent position, based in Warrington (Cheshire) or Moor Row (Cumbria) with a 37-hour working week. You benefit from hybrid working arrangements, spending two days per week in the office, with travel to the client site expected once a week.
Essential experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
6. Experience managing NEC contracts, ideally post-contract phase
7. Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a regulated environment
8. Construction experience
Qualifications for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
9. A degree in a relevant field is desirable but not essential
