We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Health Compliance Officer with a passion for food safety to join our friendly and professional Environmental Health team. Whether you’re an experienced officer or a newly qualified professional looking to build your career, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and forward‑thinking local authority.
As an Environmental Health Officer specialising in food safety, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding public health and maintaining confidence in local food businesses. Working across a diverse range of premises, you’ll provide practical advice, undertake inspections, investigate complaints, and apply legislation fairly and proportionately.
You’ll build positive relationships with businesses, helping them understand their responsibilities and achieve high standards of compliance, while taking enforcement action where necessary to protect the public.
