Job Summary
To support the Warehouse department in all aspects of updating the Stock system and compliance within the Warehouse Department.
Key tasks:
* Assist in the day-to-day running of the Stores/Warehouse, including parts handling and deliveries.
* Update Opera and other relevant data collection systems, including ERP and WMS platforms, with accurate and timely information.
* Participate in regular stock takes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including identifying and implementing ways to reduce waste.
* Engage in in-house training and Toolbox Talks (TBTs), working toward full sign-off and competency.
* Collaborate effectively with other departments and personnel to gather required information—via in-person communication, phone/radio, or email.
* Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and regulatory standards.
* Promote and maintain Health and Safety practices within the Stores/Warehouse environment.
* Ensure timely and accurate distribution of requested parts to internal and external customers.
* Receive and process deliveries, including Goods In and Goods Out operations, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.
* Execute order picking and processing tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and readiness for dispatch.
* Handle engineering components with care and precision, applying relevant product knowledge where necessary.
* Work in accordance with Company operating procedures and guidelines, maintaining professionalism and operational excellence.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling
* Proficiency in forklift operation and familiarity with warehouse management systems
* Experience in stocking, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving
