Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
* Respond promptly to roadside breakdowns and deliver expert vehicle repair and diagnostic services.
* Conduct assessments, troubleshoot faults, and perform repairs on light vehicles at roadside locations.
* Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism, offering reassurance, and communicating effectively during stressful breakdown situations.
* Accurately complete all necessary documentation on-site and via company systems.
* Maintain and service your van, diagnostic equipment, and tools to ensure readiness as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
* Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working independently across multiple locations nationwide.
* Support and advise customers through effective communication and professionalism during roadside incidents.
Requirements:
* Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent recognised qualification.
* At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in vehicle diagnostics, electrical repairs, and general mechanical repairs.
* Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
* Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
* Ability to work independently, efficiently manage time, and respond swiftly to roadside emergencies.
* Flexibility to cover various locations across the region.
