Overview
Functional Assessment Roles, 9-5 Monday to Friday with all UK Bank Holidays off; immediate starts available. Competitive salary + 10% annual bonus paid quarterly (2.5% of salary every quarter, based on quality and productivity).
Responsibilities
* Assess up to a maximum of four to five customers per day, taking clinical observations and questioning to create a written report for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). The report will form part of the decision on support for the customer.
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and clarity in documentation; customers report a 96% satisfaction rate at assessment.
Day to Day
You will assess up to a maximum of four to five customers per day, take clinical observations and questioning, and prepare a written report for the DWP.
Training
Customers will receive industry-leading training provided by the client’s clinical tutors. The course will equip you with the skills to support customers and transfer your current knowledge to the level required for the role. Special focus areas include mental health and musculoskeletal issues. Full training is approximately six months, during which you will be paid. The role maintains your NMC registration as an RGN and provides revalidation support.
Development
After completing comprehensive training, you will have ongoing CPD (over 100 hours protected per annum), support with revalidation, and opportunities to develop your career within the organisation. You will receive full support in maintaining your RGN/RMN/RNLD or Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Paramedic skills and developing your clinical portfolio. These roles meet NMC and HCPC revalidation and reregistration requirements.
Requirements
* One year’s post-registration with the NMC/HCP as an RGN/RMN/RNLD or Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Paramedic or overseas equivalent experience.
* Computer or IT skills are essential.
* Typing or keyboard skills with the ability to type at 40 words per minute.
