The Highfield School is an ambitious 11-18 comprehensive school, where all are encouraged to achieve their full potential. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Maths Teacher to join our thriving maths department and provide high-quality teaching of maths. Part-time applications are welcomed. You will work closely with the maths team and be committed to improving the student experience across all maths disciplines.
This role offers the potential for the right candidate to be Head of Year – TLR 2c £8,279.
Responsibilities
* Teach high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3–5, including a focus on high standards and engagement.
* Contribute to providing wider curriculum opportunities that support students’ holistic education.
* Support the development of teaching and learning with a focus on evidence-based practice and CPD opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Passionate about teaching and committed to helping students achieve their best across KS3–KS5 (with high numbers taking A‑level maths).
* Ability to work with the maths team to deliver consistent, high-quality lessons.
* Commitment to safeguarding and to the Trust’s equal opportunities and inclusion principles.
