About the role
Matalan customers are the 'back bone' of the company and our aim is to give them the best shopping experience in our stores
As a ''Store Development Commercial Assistant' you will support the overall department financial management across all areas of expenditure.
Key Responsibilities -
* To ensure all purchase orders are raised accurately and in a timely manner once Capex has been approved.
* Raising Capex documentation including financial appraisals
* Monitor capital and revenue spend on active projects
* Provide weekly updates on latest view of capital spend on active projects
* To manage month end procedures
* Support the Project Team during periods of peak activity
* Admin support for field teams
* Ad hoc projects as they arise
About You
* Work with the project managers to support the financial management of each project
* Raising and Management of PO's
* Updating of capital paper work
* Strong organisational skills
