The Lead Technical Architect assumes a pivotal role as the technical lead for various programmes within Royal Berkshire NHS Trust. This position carries the responsibility of defining the strategic direction of technology and leading the technical design for all systems and services. Additionally, the post holder is tasked with devising technical solutions in the cloud while supporting the on-premise estate.
Main duties of the job
In the capacity of Lead Technical Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing security controls for business systems and services across the IT estate. Furthermore, you will maintain security architecture documents and patterns for security approaches to technical and process controls. You will have the autonomy to lead and manage the technical development of national programmes, implement security controls, and explore the benefits of cross-organisational alignment. Effective networking and communication with suppliers and a wide range of stakeholders are integral aspects of this role.
