Job Title: Maintenance Support Engineer
Position: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 9:00 am to 5 pm, 5 days over 6 on a rota basis
Salary: £24250 pa plus generous company bonus, circa £28,500pa
Area: Birkenhead and surrounding areas

The position focuses on gaining expertise in mobility products and equipment. The primary responsibilities include quality checks on various equipment, including mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and powerchairs. Furthermore, the role incorporates undertaking repairs and service items in our in-store workshop and within customers' homes. It fosters hands-on interaction and contributes to their desire for independence, encouraging a profound sense of job satisfaction.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
* Methodical completion of checks, repairs, and services of products within the workshop and on-site
* Thorough documentation of all work completed utilising electronic checklists
* Collaborating with the Head Office and customers to address repair and service requirements
* Accurate and detailed documentation of work completed within our user-friendly till system
* Ensuring the safe and operational condition of all tools, spares, and equipment
* Upholding a clean and organised work environment
* Providing essential support to the store with deliveries and other collections when necessary
This role's desired skills and experience include strong customer service skills, a valid driving license, competent IT skills, effective teamwork, clear communication abilities, proficient time management, and an inherent interest in item repair to uphold customer satisfaction. Notably, full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
