Pay: GBP150-GBP250 per day (Pay per scale)

About the Role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEN Class Teacher to join a warm and inclusive SEN school in Liverpool. This role involves working with pupils with a variety of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs outlined in pupils Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Responsibilities
* Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
* Student Engagement: Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation
* Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Classroom Management: Maintain a positive atmosphere through effective behaviour management strategies
* Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote student success
* Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in SEN education
* Safeguarding: Uphold and implement safeguarding policies to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all pupils

About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working in SEN settings or with children with additional needs
* Compassionate, adaptable, and proactive teaching approach
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Experience with or interest in approaches such as PECS, Makaton, or TEACCH is desirable

* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references
