Supported by either Central / Regional sales offices and branches, the SM will draw upon all relevant resources around them to ensure customers are fully serviced by all facets of the business offering. Attention to detail in reporting and CRM is key to ensure a footprint of all activity is recorded. Accurate reporting will support credit management decision making and allow targeted marketing to the right customer segment at the right time. Close customer relations and a total appreciation of build methods, regulations and product usage are critical to ensure the Sales Manager – Trusses & Metal Web fully understands what is affecting the customers they are dealing with. An empathy with customer projects and awareness of market conditions are critical to allow the SM to properly fulfil their role and add value to the customer. Being able to make decisions in the field through accessing relevant data and information digitally are required to support customer decision making.
