This role within the Advisory, Quality Risk Management (AQRM) team involves working with existing team members to provide quality and risk management support to teams within our Deals Advisory & Consulting (DAC) practice.
You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority to deliver projects and help teams within DAC manage their legal, technical, regulatory, and risk responsibilities while promoting the firm's quality agenda.
The role suits a motivated individual with technical and practical experience in professional or legal services, ideally within transactions or consulting, ready for their next challenge.

Role Overview
As a Manager in AQRM, you will work with senior team members to:
1. Provide risk management and quality support to DAC and other advisory teams.
2. Review drafts of engagement contracts and documents to support negotiations with clients, liaising with AQRM and Legal as needed.
3. Support, educate, and coach client-facing teams to enhance risk awareness and management.
4. Develop training materials and present at relevant sessions.
5. Ensure controls are understood and implemented by client-facing teams.
6. Identify and manage emerging risks.
7. Contribute ideas and support colleagues to optimize team effectiveness.
8. Collaborate with other central support teams like Legal and Ethics.
9. Develop guidance materials and templates.
10. Support file review and monitoring procedures.
Candidate Requirements
The minimum criteria include:
* A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA) with experience in an advisory business unit of a professional services firm, or
* A legal/risk management background with experience advising on contracts and policies.
Preferred skills include project management, experience with transactions or valuations, contractual drafting/review, positive attitude, commercial awareness, attention to detail, ethical awareness, effective communication, interest in digital solutions, and resilience.
