Days of Work:
Working day to be agreed with successful candidate.
Start date: August 2025.
A teacher with experience supporting learners with targeted interventions and identifying learners within the dyslexia pathway is required. Additional roles as directed by the HT may be included.
Interviews will be held in August after the schools return.
Job Details
Responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking class-teaching duties
2. Teaching assigned classes with preparation and correction
3. Developing the school curriculum
4. Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupils' work
5. Preparing pupils for examinations and assisting with administration
6. Providing advice and guidance to pupils on educational issues
7. Promoting and safeguarding pupils' health, welfare, and safety
8. Working with parents, support staff, and professionals
9. Participating in professional development (CLPL)
10. Contributing to school planning and achievement initiatives
11. Supporting the overall order and needs of the school

Qualifications:
* Appropriate primary qualification
* Permanent: GTCS Full registration (General)
* Temporary: GTCS Full or Provisional registration
PVG Membership:
This role is considered regulated with vulnerable groups as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Candidates must become or update PVG Scheme members before employment.

Note on Pay: Teachers starting after the first day of the school session will have their salary recalculated to reflect leave and pay accruals for the remaining school year (1 August - 31 July). Further details will be provided if applicable.
