A client within the Public Sector based in Greater London is currently recruiting for a Building and Fire Safety Project Manager to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a compliance and building safety environment.The RoleKey purpose of the role is to lead and deliver building and fire safety improvement projects across the council’s property portfolio, ensuring compliance with all current legislation, effective risk management, and a high standard of resident safety.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:• Deliver building and fire safety projects from initiation to completion• Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and related housing safety legislation• Act as the key contact for building safety and coordinate inspections, remedial works, and reportingThe CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require:• Professional membership with CIOB, IFE, RICS or equivalent• Demonstrable experience in managing building and fire safety compliance projects• Strong understanding of current building and fire safety legislationThe below skills would be beneficial for the role:• Proficiency in interpreting technical fire safety reports and strategies• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills• Leadership and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teamsThe client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £450 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £327 per day PAYE).How to ApplyIf this position sounds of interest, email a copy of your up-to-date CV to .uk or call Amy at Service Care Construction on to discuss the vacancy in more detail.Also, if this role is not of interest to you, but you are looking for new opportunities, please still get in touch as we cover all construction-related vacancies across the region.Referral BonusIf this role is not suitable for yourself, but you know someone who may be interested, please pass on their details, or forward these details to them.
