Your Role
Are you a master of timelines and a champion of precision? Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our elite Global Programme Office (GPO). In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of cutting-edge engineering programs—spanning software and hardware development. You'll collaborate closely with Project Managers and technical teams to craft realistic, resource-optimized schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring every milestone is met confidently.
In this role, you will:
1. Develop and maintain fully resourced project schedules to support bids and delivery.
2. Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
3. Support financial forecasting and drive profitability through effective planning.
4. Identify and resolve project issues while promoting continuous improvement.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
* 10+ years of experience managing complex engineering schedules in Microsoft Project, from requirements through to delivery.
* A strong background in Defence (Air, Land, or Maritime), with proven leadership of multi-functional teams.
* Skills in project finances, risk management, and critical path analysis, with a sharp eye for detail.
* Eligibility for SC Clearance and confidence navigating project planning, budgeting, and contract management.
