Driver Hire, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company are currently seeking several HGV Class 2 Drivers for various roles and contract terms (to suit you) in and around Darlington.
HGV Class 2 Driver responsibilities:
1. Maintaining regular contact with Transport/Branch Managers on daily progress
2. Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits
3. Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
4. Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
5. Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
HGV Class 2 Driver requirements:
6. No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, IN’s, TT’s)
7. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
8. Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year
9. Cat-C Licence (HGV Class 2)
