Summary
* This role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the school premises, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The position is a 2-3 month contract with a local authority, focusing on providing a healthy environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities
* Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, and other school facilities.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
* Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
* Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the site manager.
* Follow health and safety regulations and school policies.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
* Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS required (paper copy must be presented on arrival at school).
Additional Information
* Working hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (15:30 to 18:30).
* Location: Sandlings Primary School - IP12 3TD.
