We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Romford looking for a confident and caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS2. This role blends academic intervention with SEN support, so we’re looking for someone who understands the KS2 curriculum and knows how to adapt learning to help every child feel included and capable.
You’ll be supporting small groups within the mainstream classroom, helping pupils build confidence, stay engaged, and make real progress, both academically and emotionally.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting children across KS2 in small group sessions
* Delivering targeted interventions in English and Maths
* Providing SEN support within the mainstream classroom
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Helping create a calm, positive learning environment where children can thrive
We’d love to hear from you if you:
* Have experience working as a TA in a primary setting
* Understand the KS2 curriculum and learning expectations
* Have experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs
* Bring patience, energy, and a good sense of humour to the classroom
* Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff alike
