Offer description

Private MSK Clinic | Mold, Flintshire

Employed | Permanent | Part-Time

Start: Spring / Early Summer 2026

Hours: 10–15 hours per week (structured rota, some evenings/weekends)

Salary

£28,000 – £34,000 FTE (pro rata)

Salary is based on skills, contribution, and performance, not time served.

For candidates who are not yet HCPC registered, the role will initially be offered within a massage / MSK support scope, with salary aligned to that scope of practice (£25,000 FTE, pro rata). Salary will be reviewed and increased upon confirmation of HCPC registration and transition into a physiotherapy role.

The Opportunity

Peacock Pain & Injury Clinic is recruiting a Band 5 Physiotherapist into a permanent employed role, starting part-time with a clear opportunity to increase hours over time as clinic capacity and patient demand grow.

This role is suitable for a newly qualified or near-qualified physiotherapist, including candidates who currently hold a massage qualification and wish to start in a blended role before transitioning fully into physiotherapy practice once registration is confirmed.

This is not a temporary or stop-gap role. We are building long-term clinical capacity and are looking for someone who wants to grow with the clinic.

Who This Role Is For

This role would suit a clinician who:

* Is newly qualified or completing the final stages of physiotherapy training
* Wants to develop confident MSK assessment and rehabilitation skills
* Values clear expectations, feedback, and professional standards
* Is comfortable starting part-time and growing hours gradually
* Is motivated, reflective, and patient-centred
* Is seeking a permanent employed role with structure, stability, and development

The Role

You will:

* Manage an MSK caseload appropriate to your experience and scope of practice
* Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation and hands-on treatment
* Develop structured, individualised treatment plans with senior support
* Educate patients to support long-term recovery and injury prevention
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

For candidates not yet HCPC registered, the role may initially include:

* Massage therapy and MSK support work
* Shadowing and supervised clinical development
* A planned transition into a physiotherapy role once registration is confirmed

Essential Requirements

* Degree (or pending qualification) in Physiotherapy
* Eligible for HCPC registration (or in final year awaiting registration)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and work within clinical governance frameworks
* Right to work in the UK (we are unable to consider overseas applicants or provide visa sponsorship)

Desirable Skills

* Massage qualification (sports / remedial / clinical massage)
* Interest in MSK rehabilitation and long-term patient outcomes
* Interest in further development such as Clinical Pilates (training support available following a period of employment and mutual commitment)
* Private practice exposure (not essential)

What We Offer

* Permanent employed role with clear structure
* 10–15 hours per week initially, agreed in advance
* Salary progression linked to performance and contribution
* Paid annual leave
* Pension scheme (subject to eligibility)
