Overview
JLL Workplace Management is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Swan Walk Shopping Centre, Horsham. You will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance duties, ensuring the highest standards of building operations and client service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with JLL's PPM schedules and task procedures.
* Undertake PPM activities in a quality, professional manner ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
* Utilize and complete CAFM system entries accurately and in a timely manner.
* Produce technical and situational reports as required by management and clients.
* Undertake additional duties on site as requested to support operational requirements.
* Proactively use JLL's technology systems to ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.
* Execute all maintenance works in a professional and proactive manner at all times.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and clients.
* Complete activity reports in line with JLL procedures accurately and within required timeframes.
* Assist the management team in producing quotations by providing accurate information when additional works are identified.
* Attend team meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required.
* Provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on schedule.
* Ensure JLL Workplace Management is represented professionally at all times.
* Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and management team.
* Escalate any major site issues or incidents to line manager immediately upon discovery.
* Manage JLL subcontractors while working on site, ensuring quality and compliance standards.
* Understand and comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation, recognizing personal roles and responsibilities within JLL.
* Handle, store and use all materials and equipment in accordance with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
* Actively participate in health and safety processes required under JLL policies including accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments and auditing.
* Complete any other reasonable instructions from the Contract Manager or Line Managers.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in commercial building maintenance environment.
* Electrical Engineering or Mechanical apprenticeship / NVQ or City & Guilds qualification (Essential).
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring and Installation certification (or ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training if holding 17th Edition).
* Knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation extraction, plumbing and general building fabric maintenance.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and clients.
* Proactive approach to achieving the highest standards of operation.
* Strong IT and report writing skills.
* Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, clear-thinking and able to deliver required services within given timeframes.
Desirable Qualifications
* Multi-skilled trade certifications.
* HVAC/Refrigeration qualifications.
* Water treatment awareness.
* First Aid certification.
