Financial Accountant required for a large organisation in Poole where you will provide financial expertise, governance and reporting. They are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to support a significant accounting standards transition project. What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and supporting the transition to updated accounting standards
* Gathering, analysing and validating financial data to ensure compliance with new reporting requirements
* Preparing and documenting accounting processes, journals and adjustments
* Supporting the production of statutory accounts and year-end reporting
* Working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth transition and audit process
* Delivering guidance and support to finance colleagues and stakeholders on new accounting requirements
* Assisting with financial systems updates, reporting structures and chart of accounts changes
What We're Looking For
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Strong experience in financial and statutory accounting
* Experience of accounting standards implementation projects
* Understanding of financial controls, governance and reporting processes
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention xsngvjr to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines
* Confident communicator who can work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
