🧑🏫 The Role
This position involves teaching GCSE-level maths to a diverse range of learners aged 16 and over. You'll deliver high-quality lessons, support student progress, and contribute to curriculum innovation in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging and inclusive maths lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing tailored academic support.
Acting as a course tutor, managing attendance, pastoral care, and learning goals.
Supporting course and curriculum development across subject areas.
Participating in events such as open days, induction activities, and enrolment.

🎓 Candidate Profile
We're looking for individuals who are passionate about maths education and student success.
Essential criteria:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Mathematics (or equivalent).
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Diploma in Teaching and Learning), or willingness to work towards one.
Strong working knowledge of the GCSE mathematics curriculum.
A student-centred approach and excellent organisational skills.
Desirable:
Experience teaching in a Further Education or Post-16 setting.
Experience with Functional Skills maths or supporting students with additional learning needs.
