Graphic Designer – Brand Identity (Contract)
Location: Gaydon – Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)
Rate: £30 per hour (Inside IR35)
Contract Type: Contract
Hrs Per week: 40
Duration: End of March 2026 (Likely long term extension)
About the Role
We are looking for a talented and hands-on Graphic Designer to support the creation and development of a comprehensive brand identity system for a new, high-profile automotive brand. This is a rare opportunity to help define and craft a brand’s entire visual world from the ground up.
You will play a central role in establishing and executing the visual language across multiple touchpoints, working collaboratively with brand programme managers and a multidisciplinary design team.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and refine core brand identity elements, including symbolism, typography, iconography, colour palette, grid systems, and layout structures
* Explore and design patterns and graphical elements derived from the brand’s core identity
* Support the creation of typographic principles and visual systems
* Help define and apply a consistent visual language for icons
* Ensure coherence and harmony across all brand identity elements
* Collaborate with programme managers to ensure timely delivery
* Work alongside other design disciplines such as motion, HMI, and spatial design
About You
* Strong graphic design skills gained in agency and/or in-house environments
* Experience working across multiple aspects of brand identity
* Ability to interpret design direction into high-quality creative outputs
* Comfortable working at pace in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
