About the role As the HSE Apprentice at RMSPumptools, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the HSEQ team, contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of our HSE management system. Your responsibilities include updating records, and collaborating with various departments. Whilst being mentored by the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for: Ensure clear and regular communication of HSE statistics and updates throughout our workforce, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Help us exceed legislative standards by implementing best practices and ensuring adherence to industry-recognized international standards (including ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO80079-34) Play a crucial role in tendering, project execution, and delivery functions by providing input into HSE planning, execution, and assessments. Conduct internal and supplier audits, ensuring processes are followed and driving our commitment to preventing and reducing HSE incidents. Investigate non-Conformances, incidents/accidents/near misses and ensure corrective actions are followed up to confirm they are closed out Compilation and analysis of non-conformance reports and performance data for trends analysis against defined parameters. Conduct internal audits, produce reports and ensure close out of actions. Perform spot checks on goods inward documentation to ensure compliance to company requirements. Lead and contribute to HSE campaigns that inspire our team members to actively engage in maintaining a safe work environment. Ensure clear and regular communication of HSE statistics and updates throughout our workforce, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. As part of your Apprenticeship, you will work towards a Level 3 Safety, Health, and Environmental Technician standard which will be delivered by our partnered training provider. You will be supported by a mentor, and an immensely experienced team will be at your disposal for unwavering support. Additionally, 20% of your apprenticeship hours will be devoted to off-the-job activities, including exam preparation, shadowing senior staff, tutorials with your mentor or colleagues, and other developmental sessions, enhancing your overall learning experience.
