Job Overview Job purpose We’re looking for a motivated and practical individual to join our team as a Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Apprentice. You’ll be trained in all aspects of sheet-metal fabrication — from reading engineering drawings and operating CNC machinery to TIG/MIG welding and finishing high-quality metal components. Working under the guidance of our experienced fabricators, you’ll gain hands-on experience in: Laser-cutting and folding sheet metal Setting up and operating press brakes, rolls, and other fabrication machinery TIG and MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium Fabrication, drilling and tapping of structural and precision components Use of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and accurately Grinding, polishing and finishing of fabricated parts Assembly and inspection of fabricated parts Working to engineering drawings and quality standards Following health & safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area What We Offer Full apprenticeship (4 years) training and qualifications (SCQF level 5 and SCQF Level 7 qualifications, meta skills and a minimum of NC in engineering discipline.)
