Job Description
3. Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
5. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
6. Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership.
7. Manage month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy.
8. Supervise and support the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
9. Monitor cash flow and implement effective cost controls.
10. Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
11. Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
12. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
13. Proven experience in financial management within industrial or manufacturing settings.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
16. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
17. A proactive and organised approach to managing workload.
