The Role As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and compliance services while developing your technical and client-facing skills. You’ll work closely with senior team members, supporting clients with both day-to-day accounting and longer-term financial insight. Key Responsibilities Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting Supporting tax compliance including corporation tax, personal tax and VAT Cloud-based bookkeeping using Xero and similar platforms Liaising with clients to obtain information and answer queries Supporting senior accountants with advisory and planning work Maintaining accurate records and contributing to process improvements About You AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent experience) Previous experience working within an accountancy practice Confident preparing accounts and supporting tax compliance Comfortable using cloud accounting software (Xero experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Professional, approachable and confident communicating with clients Ambitious and keen to continue progressing your accounting career What’s On Offer Competitive salary with clear progression opportunities Hybrid working and a flexible, modern working environment Study support and ongoing professional development Exposure to a diverse and interesting client portfolio Supportive, collaborative team culture Opportunity to grow with a forward-thinking firm Interested?
