A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Practice Development Facilitator / Clinical Skills Team Manager with Sirona CIC, a provider of innovative high-quality specialist community health and care services across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. This role is for 10-12 months as maternity cover, either 17 hours per week for 12 months or 21 hours per week for 10 months.
This position is a key role within the Clinical Skills Team, part of the Learning and Organisational Development & Design department in the People, Development and Communications Directorate.
The successful candidate will support, advise on, and deliver a wide range of learning and practice development activities across the organization. They will work closely with operational teams and act as the key interface between them and the Learning and Organisational Development & Design (LODD) Team. The goal is to provide high-quality training and development to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.
The role includes leading and managing the Clinical Skills Team and overseeing the clinical effectiveness of clinical training delivery as required. Additionally, the post-holder will ensure that various LODD interventions and support are in place for staff and managers to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to be effective in their roles, enabling the delivery of a safe, effective, and caring service.
