Groomfield Recruitment are looking for Four Production Operatives for their client based in Halesowen, Birmingham B63. This is a temporary ongoing role, with the possibility for a permanent position if the client see's fit, this is to cover a minimum of 18 months maternity cover Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 0830 - 1730 Friday 0730 - 1630 Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.71 per hour. Overtime available when needed Duties of the Role: - Warehouse order picking - Warehouse stock movement - Manual handling of products up to 20KG - Assembly of products - Use of hand and power tools to assemble goods - Working from diagrams to ensure products are correctly assembled and fit for purpose - Working within a team to achieve targets - Ensuring a safe operation at all times and complying with Health and Safety rules - Ability to work unaccompanied to achieve results and exceed customer expectations Experience Required: - Previous experience working within assembly/production is highly desirable - Ability to perform manual handling tasks where needed is essential - Ability to use hand and power-tools is essential - Be physically fit, due to lifting, handling products and walking/standing for long periods of time - Experience having worked alone and within a team is desirable
