An established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced civil engineer to join their thriving civils team on a permanent basis.

Main duties of this Civil Engineer role include:
* Collaborating with team members on technical work, site visits, and project management to deliver impactful solutions.
* Conducting technical and feasibility studies for potable water, foul water, surface water, and attenuation requirements.
* Performing detailed calculations and preparing technical reports, ensuring integration of design elements.
* Using computer-based programmes for numerical analysis of water systems.
* Undertaking structural analysis and design, including load cases and analysis software.
* Designing water infrastructure such as pump systems and pipe networks, including safety assessments and working with technicians on drawings.
* Working towards chartership or incorporated status with relevant institutions (e.g., ICE, CIWEM) is advantageous but not essential.
* Carrying out engineering assessments, options appraisals, calculations, and economic evaluations.
* Experience in detailed design, especially in wastewater/water treatment, flood risk management, or drainage schemes is preferred.
