About the Company
A growing real estate business need a contractor to join them in January (interviews in December) to help with budgeting, projects and BAU. You will be working in a fast paced, motivated team who are changing their reporting and systems. The role will initially be for 3-6 months and may extend or even become permanent.
Everyone in the business is in the Central London office 5 days a week. Please only apply if you are seeking an on-site role.
About the Role
You will be able to drive ideas forward to improve ways of working and there will be projects and process improvements alongside BAU.
Responsibilities
* Preparing budgets, analyse financial statements, and present insights to management teams to support strategic decisions
* Prepare detailed budgets for 2026
* Develop accurate cash flow forecasts for 2026
* Implement budgets across departments, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
* Monitor budget adherence and performance across cost and revenue lines
* Engage with budget holders to understand variances, drivers, and divisional intricacies
* Build strong relationships with budget holders
* Ensure clarity of financial processes and provide guidance where needed
* Refine and improve existing processes and challenge outputs to create relevant, value-adding analysis for use by the business
Qualifications
You will need to be a Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with at least two years’ post-qualified experience.
Required Skills
* Commercially strong with a solid grounding in accountancy
* Experience across budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
* The ability to question and challenge information in a collaborative way

Pay range and compensation package
£70,000 - £80,000 per annum or c£450 per day
