About the Role
Howden Group are seeking a passionate Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate & Commercial division. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to be part of a team that is dedicated to supporting clients through the complex landscape of commercial risk. With your expertise, you will help businesses navigate uncertainty and achieve unwavering growth. In your role you will deal with the administration of Philip Williams Management Ltd products, which may include membership administration, new business sales and renewal processing, providing information to clients on the claims process, administering claims forms, settling claims and handling referrals to insurers.
Key Responsibilities
* Help achieve Group/Division client targets by providing an outstanding level of service.
* Undertake market exercises to establish the most competitive terms available.
* Issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty.
* Ensure premiums are collected in line with Howden procedures.
* Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, expertly and process them effectively in line with service standards.
* Record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation on Acturis and make effective use of the diary system.
* Produce accurate and professional documentation at all times using relevant Howden templates.
* Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premiums.
* Actively cross-sell products from other divisions.
Knowledge and Skills
* The jobholder's skills, product knowledge and experience must be significant to enable them to gain commitment and support with Federations, Intermediaries and Company Staff
* Working knowledge of Acturis is desirable but not essential.
* Cert CII is desirable for this role or studying towards the qualification.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
* Good negotiation and broking skills.
This is a Hybrid role based in our Stockton Heath office.
