This organisation is at the forefront of surgical innovation, providing state-of-the-art visualisation and workflow solutions that empower surgeons to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. With a strong legacy of clinical excellence and a reputation for quality, they're now looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to support the successful adoption of their advanced microsurgery technologies across the South of the UK.
The Role
This field-based role focuses on providing hands-on clinical application support, training and guidance to surgical teams across NHS and private hospitals. Working in close collaboration with the commercial team, you will help drive the integration of high-performance medical technologies into clinical workflows - with a particular emphasis on neurosurgery, ENT, plastic surgery and tumour treatment pathways.
You will play a key part in the national roll-out of new systems, supporting healthcare professionals in real-world settings, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver in-theatre support, product training, and clinical demonstrations to end-users
2. Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to assist early adopter sites and drive product usage
3. Build and maintain relationships with key clinical stakeholders and opinion leaders
4. Provide expert insights to help align technology with clinical workflow needs
5. Understand NHS and private sector funding pathways to support successful implementation
6. Contribute to national go-to-market strategies and support post-installation success
Ideal Candidate
7. Degree-qualified in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Health Science, or similar
8. Strong clinical background - experience in-theatre, surgical assistance, or hospital environments preferred
9. Experience supporting healthcare technology (clinical or commercial support roles)
10. Knowledge of Neurosurgery, ENT or Plastic Surgery is highly desirable
11. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
12. Comfortable with regular UK-wide travel and flexible working
13. Full UK driving licence required
