Senior Healthcare Support Worker - Maternity Department (Ref: 223164)
Substantive, Part-time 30 hours per week
Band 3 - Salary Range £28,011 - £30,230 per annum (pro rata)
Distant Island Allowance of £2,380 per annum (pro rata)
Are you interested in healthcare, particularly in supporting childbearing women and their babies? As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will work as a valued member of our small team, supporting and working under the direction of midwives within the Maternity department. There is also an opportunity to work within the wider reproductive health service, including the sexual health clinic. You will be expected to work day and night shifts, including weekends.
Applicants should have experience working in a caring environment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

You must comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of starting. Details are available online.
