<div><p>We are seeking to appoint an XR Technical Specialist in Simulation-Based Education within the Faculty of Health & Education. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the use of immersive technologies and digital content within the Brooks Building at our Birley Campus.</p><p>You will join a diverse and supportive technical team, contributing to the effective delivery of services that support learning, teaching, research, outreach, and enterprise activities.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p>Your primary responsibility will be to support and enhance the use of immersive environments, specialist equipment, and software for teaching and research purposes. You will bring a flexible and innovative approach, alongside a passion for emerging technologies and the development of sector-leading facilities within the faculty.</p><h3>You Will Also</h3><ul><li>Provide technical support, advice, and training to staff and students</li><li>Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of facilities and services</li><li>Contribute to maintenance, health and safety, and administrative processes</li><li>Support the ongoing development and improvement of the area</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service and ensure deadlines are met</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><p>As a Technical Officer, you will be self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
