Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to best practices and protocols. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of treatment plans. Previous experience in a Elderly care is desirable
Duties
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
* Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
* Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
* Ensure that service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
* Undertake the care planning activities for service users to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent
* Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements
* Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
Experience
* A valid nursing qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing care.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning within the nursing profession.
