ServiceNow Engineer - 6 month contract - Inside IR35 - UK Based - Remote
A leading global retailer is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract in a team responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise business processes and technology solutions.
Responsibilities
1. Designs, configures, and implements ServiceNow applications and modules in alignment with business requirements
2. Develops and maintains ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and integrations using best practices
3. Supports platform stability by monitoring deployments, resolving incidents, troubleshooting issues, and performing root cause analysis
4. Ensures adherence to ServiceNow development standards, governance, and security controls across the platform
5. Integrates ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third party connectors
6. Participates in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities, contributing to backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery commitments
What You'll Bring
ServiceNow Platform Expertise including
7. ServiceNow configuration & customization Including forms, tables, UI policies, business rules, ACLs, and client/server scripts.
8. Scripting: JavaScript (client and server)
9. Service Portal / Employee Centre development including HTML, CSS, AngularJS, jQuery, and portal widget customization
10. Workflow Designer Building automated HR processes and case lifecycles.
Additional Requirement on Expertise Specific to HRSD:
11. HR Case Management Case types, templates, HR services, and lifecycle events.
12. Employee Centre - Designing intuitive employee experiences.
13. HR Integrations Connecting with Workday, as well as products from other vendors
