Job Title: Enterprise Risk Manager
Location: A UK contractor to work in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Contract Term: 6 months, extendable
Flight tickets and accommodations will be covered.
Day Rate: (outside IR35) will be negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience. Candidates willing to relocate will be especially considered.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to join our clients team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and assessing the current status of the risk management framework, and for enhancing and developing risk registers for all business units within the railway network. This role also requires conducting regular meetings with project managers and stakeholders, and uploading risk registers into the ARM software.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and assess the current status of the risk management framework developed/updated in 2021, and identify areas of improvements.
2. Develop and enhance process-level risk registers for all business units within the railway network.
3. Conduct weekly or biweekly meetings with the project manager to present project progress.
4. Facilitate workshop meetings with all stakeholders to review and agree on their risk registers to ensure the completeness of each Business Units Risk Register.
5. Test the existing controls against very high and high risks and provide an assessment on control design and operating effectiveness.
6. Upload all risk registers into the ARM software.
7. Perform risk assessment and develop/update process level risk register by network.
8. Define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and their respective thresholds used to monitor the Top Risks.
9. Provide support in the assessment of control implementation and related risk mitigation.
Compliance:
The scope of works will be delivered per ISO 31000:2018 - Risk Management international standard.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 10 years experience in Enterprise Risk Management.
2. Familiarity with ISO 31000 and its application in a major business.
3. Experience in railway industries is a bonus.
4. Willingness to be located in the client office in Riyadh, KSA.
