Lead Clinician – Longdon Hall School – Staffordshire WS15 4PT
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 FTE dependent on experience.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Contract: Permanent (term‑time only, with flexibility to be discussed).
The role
* Lead the in‑house clinical team, collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Clinically lead assessments and intervention plans for students with complex needs, including autism and neurodivergence, developmental trauma and SEMH.
* Manage a therapy caseload and support the delivery of bespoke assessment and intervention plans.
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members and lead on service development with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Focus on meeting EHCP plan needs, targeting OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working.
* Provide supervision and support to a therapy team.
* Work independently and dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service.
Essential criteria
* Allied health professional qualification or Psychotherapy/Clinical Psychology/Counselling qualification.
* Valid and up‑to‑date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g. BPS).
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated context.
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
