Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer A with industry / subject specialist knowledge to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our Catering Department.
Ideally, you will have:
* Relevant Level 3 qualification in Catering and Hospitality
* Level 3 Advanced Food Hygiene (or willingness to work towards)
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
* Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
* Evidence of professional updating and development
Day-to-day you will have responsibility:
* To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
* To support the Head of Department on curriculum and course development.
* To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
* Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
* To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates
* As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
