About the role
The Head of Sales will manage and develop profitable sales growth across the UK for the Pumps, Power & Environmental (PPE) division. You will lead, develop and manage the performance of Technical Sales Managers and their teams, including carrying out KPI meetings and joint customer visits. Additionally, you will manage and develop a portfolio of approximately 10 key existing accounts and work with key stakeholders across the Group as a member of the Senior Management Team.
Please note this role will involve extensive travel across the UK; we are flexible on the candidate's location.
About You
* A proven track record in a Sales Manager or Sales Director role within the Pumps, Power or Hire related industries
* Experience in leading and developing successful regional sales teams
* Previous experience delivering effective sales training
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare proposals and deliver presentations at a senior level
* Proven negotiation skills and a focus on exceeding customers' expectations
* Proficient in MS Office and experience using CRM software
* Driving licence (essential)
