The Curly Wurly Gang are looking for an exceptional assistant to replace one of my fabulous assistants who is moving on to do an Early Years Teaching Degree.

I love my assistants to take the initiative and organise activities, suggest ideas and help me to run my wonderful Setting.
Do you love mud & sand, getting wet, messing about with shaving foam, mixing potions & conducting fun experiments, preparing cooking delights and having a dance or a jig?
Curly Wurly Childcare is an Ofsted Outstanding setting, offering childcare 4 days a week from my home all year round between the hours of 8am to 5.30pm. We are based in Hordle, SO41 and have a large, dedicated playroom with access to our large garden.
We offer childcare for young babies up to age 3 mostly.
Our ethos is fun fun fun – every day – as we really don’t want to be bored. Our days are rarely ever the same or mundane and we love to do something spontaneous. We really enjoy going ‘out n about’ most mornings to explore our wonderful local community – we have the New Forest on our doorstep, as well as only being 10mins from many beaches and regularly visit an array of local playparks throughout the year. You definitely don't get to stay each day at all!
You will need to have lots of energy, not only for delivering outstanding childcare but physical energy will be needed to get children in/out car seats and travel cots again and again – 10k steps per day are easy peasy!!!
We definitely work hard but play even harder…………. So you will need to be physically able/fit as it is definitely hard & physical work.
The post is part-time over the 4 days - Tuesdays (11.30 - 16.30), Wednesdays (09.30- 15.30), Thursdays & Fridays (13.00 - 17.00) incl School Holidays. Plus extra hours are often available to cover holidays/other events.
We would love you to have an NVQ 3 in childcare, or equivalent, but life experience/other relevant experience could be just as good in our opinion. A full UK driving license may be advantageous.
