Role – Toolmaker Location – Mildenhall, Suffolk Working hours – Monday to Friday – full time hours –8.00am - 17.00pm Capacity of role – Permanent position Salary – Up to £42,000 per annum Our client is a leading and established company who are looking for a toolmaker to join their busy manufacturing team. Candidates will need to be proficient in toolmaking and will have working experience of cnc machinery ideally lathes. Main duties will include - •Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain production tooling and fixtures •Work with traditional tool room and workshop machinery •Support production by troubleshooting tooling issues and implementing improvements •Assist with tooling trials, testing, and fault finding •Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure tooling reliability and longevity •Maintain accurate documentation relating to tooling and maintenance activities •Work within ISO quality and regulatory standards •Attend occasional UK/international travel for project-related work •Participate in relevant training courses to support ongoing development Candidate attributes - •Proven experience working as a Toolmaker or within a toolroom environment •Experience using toolroom/workshop-based machinery •A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Toolmaking, or equivalent hands-on experience •A ...
