We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the operations of one of our Children's Residential homes.
This role requires a compassionate leader who can manage a team effectively while ensuring that all care plans are implemented and adhered to.
Duties
* Develop, implement, and monitor individual care plans for each child, ensuring their needs are met in accordance with regulatory standards.
* Administer medication as prescribed, maintaining accurate records of all medications given.
* Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care, fostering a positive environment for both staff and children.
* Conduct regular assessments of children's health and wellbeing, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
* Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for each child.
* Lead training sessions for staff on best practices in child care and medication administration.
* Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies related to children's care.
Skills
* Previous experience in a management capacity in a Children's Residential environment is essential.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage with residents, families, and staff.
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People
