About The Role
Are you ready to take the lead in orchestrating a seamless synergy between skills development and administrative excellence? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team at Arco, the UK's premier integrated health and safety experts, in the role of Skills Coordinator & Site Administrator.
This role may be on site or hybrid, from our site in Preston.
Key responsibilities include:
* Continually maintaining and updating the Competence and Skill’s matrixes, covering all ACC departments.
* Supporting designated individuals with maintaining the SOP’s and skills matrix when necessary.
* Creating, updating or supporting creation of all Standard Working Procedures (SWPs) and SOPs for all ACC processes, procedures and protocols ensuring the same standards are maintained across all the departments.
* Yearly auditing of training files ( all departments).
* Carrying out annual reviews of SWP’s and 3 yearly audit & reviews of all SOP’s.
* In conjunction with the relevant Line manager, to manage the induction and development of On the Job Trainers, (OJTs) or other designated individuals, across the ACC Site.
* Ensuring all new and refresher training and development records are accurately recorded and updated in a timely manner and stored to an electronic employees’ files on SharePoint.
* Co-ordinating the 6 monthly manual handling assessments across site and the recording of these electronically to staff training files.
* Supporting BSI Quality Audits for the ACC demonstrating our training and compliance.
* Taking a lead in monitoring and co-ordinating 5S and quality departamental inspections.
* To validate and manage invoices within a 24hour period.

The ideal Skills Coordinator & Site Administrator will be/have:
* Good IT and SAP knowledge.
* Capable of writing systems/ operations / training manuals.
* Good communication skills (verbal and written).
* In depth knowledge of Site processes.
* Accuracy and good attention to detail along with the ability to instil this in the OJT population.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
