**Job Title: Mechanical Teams Co-Ordinator** **Salary: £30,206 - £37,000 per annum depending upon experience** **Location: Peterborough, UK** **Benefits:** **Optional flexible benefits including access to health and dental care plans, EV car lease, holiday purchase.** The successful candidate will support the mechanical technician team in delivering efficient, high quality work in their day to day operations. They will assist with maintenance scheduling, support installations and commissioning activities and help ensure smooth daily operations. The role requires excellent organisational skills, communication, decision making and a proactive approach to team coordination and problem solving.Perform duties such as maintaining team records, supporting the team in procuring parts, spares and equipment and managing area and assets.Identify team training needs and implement appropriate actions to ensure the team meets business requirements.Degree educated or an NVQ level 3 or equivalent mechanical discipline and/or relevant work experience. Good understanding of maintenance processes, tools, equipment, and familiarity with operational and quality objectives.Strong leadership attributes, including excellent organisation, communication, problem solving, coordination and prioritising skills. Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:Experience in maintenance planning and supervisory experience is desirable Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
